Brandy of the Year 2024: who topped the best rating

According to the results of the annual award “Choice of the Year”, in 2024 the international brand AZNAURI was selected as the winner in the nomination “Brandy of the Year“ by a huge breakaway from its closest competitor.

In a modern market, where the choice is wide and competition is high, consumers are increasingly relying on independent sources of trust. For many years now, one of these benchmarks in Ukraine has been award “Choice of the Year”, an authoritative annual survey that identifies leaders in dozens of product categories, including brandy brands.

According to the research company “Ipsos Ukraine”, 91.9% of Ukrainians recognize the “Choice of the Year” medal, which emphasizes its status and level of trust. That is why the results of this rating are considered to be an objective reflection of real consumer preferences, and not just a consequence of brand advertising activity.

Rating of winners based on the survey results

The methodology of the award is based on a multi-level approach, including:

a representative survey of consumers across Ukraine;
expert evaluation by industry professionals;
opinions of advertisers;
votes of the jury and the organizing committee.

It is worth noting that consumer voting is the most important in summarizing the results, because among all the respondents listed, consumer opinion is the most important.

This year Brandy category was particularly competitive. However, the AZNAURI brand confidently outperformed the rest of participants almost twice as much as its closest rival. The result of AZNAURI is 29.7 points, and the closest competitor's score is 14.9 points.

International awards

This year, the AZNAURI brand has won awards not only in Ukraine. At the 12th annual Berlin International Spirits Competition 2025, the brand won several prestigious awards, proving its high quality and taste characteristics.

AZNAURI Black Barrel, a limited edition brandy that impresses with a rich aroma with notes of caramel, spices, smoke and nuts, was awarded a gold medal. Unique aging in oak barrels with the maximum degree of firing gives the drink depth and character.

The silver medal was awarded to AZNAURI Gold Reserve - blend with hints of dried fruit, dark chocolate, vanilla and oak, which creates a harmonious and unique flavor bouquet.
